A great start…
Ahhh….a fresh calendar…new pens to write in it with…and all of 2007 known travel dates already marked down in their specific color. I love that feeling! 
I am such a dork!
2007 started with an explosion. I worked at Passion 2007 this year which was absolutely amazing but also really tiring! I have never worked such a huge event, but it was a lot of fun. I worked hard, caught up with some awesome friends, and got a lot of new experiences in production which I needed. I got to hang out with my friend, Keith, a lot at Passion. We had lunch every day and got to catch up. It was refreshing. He was the leader of my trip to Africa and also my contact with Compassion International for camp.
God is doing big things right now in the hearts of our staff. We are all so excited to get high schoolers aware about what is happening around the world. This summer, as well as Compassion, we are going to be focusing on digging 400 wells for the communities that we sponsor through our organization 410Bridge. We are hoping to partner with blood:water mission to do this which I am really excited about. They are digging 1000 wells in Africa which is amazing. I am actually heading up this project and I opened the communication lines with them today…EXCITING!!!
This past weekend I decided to end out my Christmas break with a bang! I went to visit my friends Trevor, Nick, and Rachel in Columbia, South Carolina. It was an incredible weekend…errr…day. I drove up on Saturday morning and left on Sunday afternoon. We went climbing on Saturday which is my new favorite past time and then we played the best video game ever…Guitar Hero for about 1000 hours. It was awesome. We had great conversations, laughed a lot, and just got to hang out. It was a nice change…I am looking forward to MANY more adventures!
I’m excited about what God is going to do this year. I can already tell it’s going to be a great year, a hard year, and perhaps some heartbreak here and there. We shall see what’s in store. I am working on what I am going to go through with the girl interns this summer and I am really excited about what God has laid on my heart…I will share more next time! But in the mean time, here are some pictures for you….
