my college senior moment
So…I have this class and we have a HUGE campaign project due in 6 weeks where we pitch a real campaign to a real client. So all semester we have been working in groups because we have had projects due every other class period…which is crazy. So I have gotten used to working with these girls (there are 4 of us). The teacher says there are 3 campaigns that need to be done and 14 students in the class, so, try to stay with your groups, but make groups of 5 and one group of 4. So I am like…no no no…I cannot be split from this group. THey all work really hard and we split things up and everyone gets it done on time…and we get A’s. So the teacher goes on to say there is one campaign that needs extra man power because it is a super hard case.So…in my determination to stay with my team and NOT get the hard case, I spoke up, which I think turned the entire class against me…except my group. I said, “why don’t you just keep the 2 groups of 4 together and merge the 2 groups of 3 and give them the harder case since they will be the bigger group, our group will take the Boys and Girls Club. And SHE BOUGHT IT!! It was amazing. My entire college career I have been stuck with the slackers and the bad topics…NOT THIS TIME!! I finally spoke up!That is my senior “jerk” moment…and I loved it.
