a day in the life…
Having a blast in NYC! I am staying with one of my very best friends in Brooklyn and just tagged along in her life today! We got up, worked for a bit, went for a run around Prospect Park then changed into fresh comfy clothes and headed into the city. She definitely took me on some fun adventures to see parts of the city, but it was so fun to do NYC with a true New Yorker instead of the tourist route! We went to a super cute coffee shop to get delicious sandwiches, then strolled through the Chelsea Market and then went and explored the High Line. I HIGHLY recommend checking out the High Line if you get a chance! It is INCREDIBLE and such a cool way to explore the neighborhoods right over the hustle and bustle of the street! Very cool and VERY well done. After that we hit up Starbucks and I headed to meet Lauren (who I work with at OLAS) at Bloomingdale’s for frozen yogurt! After hanging with Lauren I met back up with Kate for a little bit of shopping and then back to Brooklyn for take-out and catching up on work. It was so great to experience a small piece of Kate’s life and see New York in a different way.
It was a FUN day and such a perfect opportunity to catch up with Kate…we haven’t seen each other in about 6 years! Today my mom, sister and aunt come in town so I am meeting them at the Waldorf…such a fun adventure!
