Friday Five
I didn’t think I would do one of these this week because we are out of town, but this is me bring proactive and writing it early AND scheduling the tweet/Facebook message that brought you here! Ah yes, I think I just gave away my secrets!
Sooo, here we go!
1. OPI Gel Manicure – seriously…AH-MAZING. It costs a little more than a manicure but there are oh so many perks! 1 – you leave the salon with DRY nails! That means NO sheet/hair marks on your nails the next morning or knicking them on your way home…yes! 2 – it lasts for up to 2 weeks (even though I went 3 weeks with my last one) without chipping!!! That third week it started to look pretty ghetto since it was growing out so much, but NO CHIPS!! I HATE getting my nails done before a vacation because of fear they will chip and I will have no nail polish remover (I am scared to pack that in my suitcase) and THIS is the solution for that. (note: it is not possible to do a gel manicure at home, it requires setting it under a UV light…unless you have that!)
2. Turbo Fire – this is my most favorite at home workout! It is the at-home version of the class I teach! If you are looking for a FUN, intense and killer workout, Turbo Fire is for you!! It comes with awesome recipes, a workout schedule and several other incredible tools. HIGHLY recommend. I am going to recommit to Turbo Fire starting on Monday to keep myself in check through the holidays – what are YOU doing to keep yourself in shape?
3. The Mark of the Lion Series – this is one of my favorite series from Francine Rivers! I grabbed the first one off my shelf last week to read during Saturday football and forgot how much I LOVE these books! If you are looking for an amazing read, grab these!!
4. Ramona and Beezus – PRECIOUS movie!!! I went and saw it by myself and LOVED it!!!!
5. Smashbox Primer – if you like your makeup to stay on your face all day…invest in this. A bottle will last you several months (takes me about 6 months to use a bottle) and it has totally changed how my makeup looks at the end of the day. HIGHLY recommend this product!!!
