My ABC’s

Saw this over on Roni’s Weigh and thought it would be fun!

So here goes… the ABC’s of me…

  1. Age: 26
  2. Bed size: King…and I LOVE it.
  3. Chore you hate: Laundry, Laundry, LAUNDRY! Omg, I cannot say it enough.
  4. Dogs: 1, Jack…the most shedding dog in the entire world – and I love him so much!
  5. Essential start to your day: a yummy breakfast and a diet coke
  6. Favorite color: hmmm…I think teal
  7. Gold or silver: Silver!
  8. Height: 5’10″ if you ask my doctors, 5’9″ if you ask my husband
  9. Instruments that you can play: oboe (this was my major for a year!), flute and piano
  10. Job title: National Sales Director
  11. Kids: 1 on the way!
  12. Live: Atlanta
  13. Mom’s name: Beth
  14. Nicknames: Leaky…only by my BFF! :)
  15. Overnight hospital stays: my stroke in 2008
  16. Pet peeve: When something exciting is happening and people say negative things. (i.e. “I’m pregnant!” answer from person you are telling “you better sleep now!” “oh boy, your life is reallllllly about to change!”) How about a simple congratulations and genuine happiness and well wishes? Hmmm?

  18. Righty or lefty: Righty.
  19. Sibling: 2 sisters, and 1 BFF that is like a sister!
  20. Time you wake up: 8:45…I know, “enjoy it now”…yes, yes I will enjoy it now!
  21. Underwear: Uhhh…duh.
  22. Vegetables you dislike: Carrots….barf!
  23. What makes you run late: I have a complex that causes me to ALWAYS be on time, even if I try to run late
  24. X-rays: lots for the stroke!
  25. Yummy food you make: I don’t really cook…ever. So, I will have to go with Shakeology. :)
  26. Zoo favorite animal: Giraffe

    love the “negative comments” comment… so so true… having kids is hard, its a life change, duh! I wish i had a penny for everyone who told me to sleep now… and now I want to go back to them and ask what they did third trimester… I didnt sleep at all. you body knows what to do its preparing for when that little blessing comes! we are women and made to have children :) thats the beauty of it. Rock it out sister! the hard stuff comes but there is so much blessing in all of it that you forget about it later. And the no sleeping thing… well thats what they make diet coke for :)

    just like when people are engaged people always say “marriage is SO hard” or “the first year is miserable”…I want to go back to those people and tell them how awesome our first year was and that yeah, marriage is work – but it’s MUCH more amazing than it is hard. I just don’t get why people feel the need to be so negative about things…just wish them the best!
