What’s up with Resonate?

After what feels like months and months of silence on Resonate – we are getting ready to move forward! On March 20 we are having our first dinner/prayer gathering with our core (which we are still forming), folks who are interested, people who want to support the church…really anyone who wants to know about Resonate, and I couldn’t be more excited.

Chris’ role at Cumberland is still a mighty one. He is in the process of replacing his role with an army of volunteers, which is not an easy task! To find folks who are willing to cut into their free time to lead teams and help execute the vision of Cumberland is a lot to ask, but I (personally), am so very thankful for the ones who have stepped up – it makes our steps towards this journey seem like they will actually be able to happen.

I did ask Chris last night pretty candidly where things stand as it seems like everyone is so excited about the idea of a church plant, but beyond that (at least from my standpoint), it feels like no one really thinks about it – which is frustrating. So this March 20th gathering is a huge encouragement to my spirit. I can’t wait to gather with a community of people to talk and pray about the vision of Resonate and really get this thing rolling. In the spring we are starting monthly worship gatherings which is even more exciting…it actually feels like it’s going to happen now!

So, I ask you – how can YOU be a part of launching Resonate with us?
