an update!
Wow, I suck at blogging! I always have these hopes and dreams of being an avid blogger and becoming rich and famous from my blog – then after 2 weeks I run out of things to say. So, I guess I will just stick to this being a boring update and journal of my life and family’s journey through church planting and having a child!
So, what’s going on with the Case family since the last update? A LOT!
We are buying a house.
This is a fun, fun piece of information, but the process has NOT been fun! We finally got our official closing notice last week and we are closing on FRIDAY! Yipppeee!! From the moment we walked in the front door of this house I just pictured us here, which is actually quite surprising. I think over the past 2 years we looked at close to 100 homes. They were either too big, too small, too new…always something wrong, but this one just resonated with me and seemed like the perfect house for our little family and dog!
It’s cute, it’s small, it’s old…and it smells old! Hello original hardwood floors…I love you!
So, moving day is next Tuesday as long as everything goes smoothly at closing. Who wants to come unpack a few boxes with us??
Our baby has a gender…and she is a girl.
We found out the gender of Baby Case on Monday and mama was right…it’s a girl! We saw amazing little hands and feet in the ultrasound and we are so, so excited to meet her in September! She’s been moving around so much and I am finally able to feel it which is the most bizarre/creepy feeling in the world. So much to do before she arrives, but thankful for the fact that we still have several months! 
Now to decorate her room…which I am really excited about.
We had our first Resonate meeting…and it was amazing.
In March we had our very first official Resonate meeting at our loft. It was such an amazing night while Chris cast the vision for the church and people we able to ask questions. It put a definite reality on the fact that we are planting a church and I am SO excited about the next 6-8 months as we hammer out the details and officially launch. People ask me all the time if it stresses me out that this is happening at the same time as the baby, and honestly, it doesn’t. God VERY clearly called Chris and I into church planting and obviously this baby is very much a part of His plan…He wanted her there for the start of it! Can’t wait to see more plans unfold and see more people step out to join us on this amazing journey!
