I think you solved it…. a glass of wine at night…. makes you forget how much sleep you lost or helps you sleep that much better when they do! From a mama of a baby that did not sleep through the night until 9 months and rarely takes a nap longer than 30 minutes, I understand!

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that everyone we are friends with on Facebook aren’t all of our true friends. If we were only friends with people that truly cared about us and had meaningful relationships with us I think we would be more willing to be honest and truthful. But instead you’re trying to talk about life to your 2nd grade boyfriend, your high school librarian, and your mom’s second cousin.

I then wrote about it on my blog, too (here: http://www.domiundbini.de/?s=ugly+beautiful+truth -in german – sorry…). But I really like the idea of keeping it real… Life isn’t so pretty sometimes. But ugly realness is so much better than fake beauty!
I also wanted to say: I loooved your last post about “the lessons of motherhood”. Very encouraging. Thank you for sharing! And also: oh boy, your baby is CUTE! (but I guess you already knew that…)

oh girl, we have burnt through 2 Roombas! I would clean it 2 times per cycle and it still burnt out after 6 months…so sad!!!

Very true! A few years ago we got a Roomba for Christmas, and we let “Roomie” run every couple of nights–voila! Dog hair under control. I definitely recommend it. Buy it somewhere that you can get an extended warranty, though, because it gets beat up bumping into things night after night.
